Sheer Luxe: The coolest summer pop-up

Pergola on the Roof is a newbie to London’s summer pop-up scene, but that hasn’t stopped it attracting a seriously cool crowd already, who are flocking there to discover its incredible food court and drinking destination, set 170-foot high under a canopy of flowers.

On top of the old BBC Television Centre in White City and just a stone's throw from Westfield, it’s been designed to replicate sunny European escapism. And when the sun's shining you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the heart of Ibiza at a buzzing beach club. At the pop-up's centre sits a mammoth bar complete with champagne baths full to bursting with chilled rosé magnums. While above the rows of beach-like banquet benches guests dine at, is a canopy of fresh evergreen ivy, wisteria and bougainvillea hanging from the wooden roof frame.

The food’s not too shabby either, with London heavy-hitters RABBIT, Salt Yard, Patty & Bun and LeCoq all offering bespoke mouth-watering menus. Not to mention the stellar selection of cocktails…

Best of all it’s free to get in and you can book a table for friends and family (no more queueing for hours on end). See you there…
